Origins
Cermesoni was founded in 1928 with the first wood gas trucks operating on the Varese–Milan route. The company grew over the following decades, specializing in the transport of ferrous, construction, and agricultural materials, and gradually expanding its network throughout Italy. In the 1980s, it acquired Radice, a long-established company in the province of Varese.
Expansion
The transfer to the Fagnano Olona Operations Center marks the beginning of a new integrated logistics model. 1998 saw the establishment of Cermesoni International, the foreign division dedicated to global shipping, supported by an international network of correspondents. At the same time, the company is consolidating its presence in Piedmont with the opening of an operational branch, which will enable it to cover the north-west even more extensively and strengthen links with the main logistics hubs in the area.

UNI EN ISO 9001
The certification, obtained in 2007 and updated to the 2015 version, recognizes our Quality Management System, adopted to continuously improve performance and ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
TAPA certification
We comply with TAPA (Transported Asset Protection Association) standards for high-risk or high-value shipments. We manage transportation in accordance with certified safety requirements, providing continuous traceability and monitoring.
IATA certification
Since 2011, we have been an IATA (International Air Transport Association). We can handle air freight, issue Air Waybills directly, and work with over 230 carriers covering 93% of global traffic.
AEOF certification
Since 2012, we have been a Full Authorized Economic Operator (AEOF).. This status certifiesreliability to customs authorities and guarantees simplified controls, greater security in shipments, and EU and international recognition.
