Advantages of containerisation for international shipments
The use of containers for handling goods outside Italy has a number of significant advantages in terms of quality and economics: cost reduction, automation of operations, reduction of loading and unloading times, less handling of goods which in turn leads to a reduction in damage and losses, adaptability to different vehicles, which can also easily lead to the development of intermodality.
We perform FCL (Full Container Load) or LCL (Less Than Container Load) international transportation.
International FCL transportation
For large quantities of goods from a single sender to a single recipient, even without reaching the maximum volume or weight allowed for the container.
International LCL transportation
For the shipping of small loads. The container accommodates loads from multiple senders from a certain country for transportation to various recipients in a limited geographical area.
In such cases, individual loads will be grouped together according to the geographical area of their destinations, volume, weight and other characteristics such as the compatibility of the goods, their hazardousness or related customs procedure.
