Logistics

Logistics

Our company is committed to managing the entire transportation and shipping logistics process to fully support the distribution of companies in every sector, all aided by innovative information systems that allow you to track the service.

Labelling using barcodes

Barcode labelling allows us and you to identify products and goods both in shipping and in transit: the barcode is linked to the tracking process and shows where items involved in the chain are.

Quality control and checks on the condition inbound and outbound products

Our company has an advanced tracking system that allows us to monitor all goods we are asked to manage, both in and out of our logistics centres, as well as those in transit. We employ the utmost attention for particular products, such as perishable goods or others that need to be delivered strictly within a certain amount of time to avoid deterioration. That’s why we have control systems for all our activities, right up to notification that delivery to the final destination has been completed successfully.

Serial number management

We manage goods and items using serial numbers so that they can easily be filed and tracked. Serial numbers allow us to track the journey of products using optical detection.

Storage

Our storage operations have obtained quality certification. Our dedicated centres have all the necessary technology, tools and equipment.

Our goal is to optimise and integrate the processes governing the storage and distribution of all categories of products as much as possible, within reason.

Tracking

Our shipping control systems allow us to analyse the movements of all goods that we are asked to manage.

Our logistics lines allow the tracking of each phase of transportation or shipping, including any sorting or transit.

Any information about a product or events along the entire chain, from production to distribution to the end customer can be made available to you. Each phase of the logistics process is documented to allow you to personally assess the efficiency of the service.

Stock management also based on F.I.F.O and L.I.F.O. criteria

The processes we use in logistics are universally considered to be the basis of the distribution chain. We analyse and organise warehoused stock both using the F.I.F.O (first in-first out) method and L.I.F.O. (last in – first out). We manage stock with the aim of ensuring high levels of production and sales flows, as well as optimising inventory costs.

Management and distribution

We consider integrated logistics a natural extension of transportation and shipping activities.

Therefore, we integrate intermediate goods management, warehousing and distribution activities into a single service.

Packaging

Like all logistics phases, packaging contributes to the efficiency of integrated management. We only carry out packaging after performing quality control and checking the condition of the products.

The packaging of goods is carried out strictly:

  • observing the customer’s instructions;
  • protecting the condition of the goods;
  • optimising bulky items;
  • ensuring the utmost logistics efficiency.

Palletising

Our automated palletising systems support us in managing the grouping of items or different types of product on a pallet, safeguarding the goods and speeding up operations.

Our palletisers create optimal, stable and safe palletising layouts.

Picking

Like the storage and cataloguing operations, we regard the picking activity to be a strategic function in logistics management, crucial to monitoring inventory, inbound and outbound warehouse goods flows.

Picking and sorting materials or goods from one load unit to another is performed with the utmost care and always taking into account different variables such as product sizes, their nature and the number of orders.

Periodic inventories

Each logistics activity is carried out as part of a strategy based on specific needs. We do not regard inventory activities as merely administrative operations, but as part of a production optimisation strategy.

We periodically and regularly prepare periodic inventories to render supply and production plans more efficient.

Statistics

An inventory drawn up regularly and professionally, together with continuous monitoring and tracking throughout the logistics process, generate useful statistics with which to analyse the company’s performance.
